Terms of Service
Last updated October 19, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the Doorlist developer (“we”) for using the Doorlist app, website and server (the “Service”). By using Doorlist you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use it.
1. What Doorlist does
Doorlist helps you find events and register for them. It searches the web for events that fit your request, and fills in sign-up forms on event sites using answers you have saved, on your behalf and with your own accounts on those sites.
2. Your account
- You sign in with Apple to use Doorlist. Your account keeps your saved answers and bookings across devices.
- You're responsible for activity on your device and account, and for keeping your saved answers accurate.
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
3. Bookings are yours
- When Doorlist registers you for an event, it does so as you, using the information you saved. You are responsible for every registration made through Doorlist, including the answers sent and any host requirements, as if you had made it yourself.
- Doorlist books free events and free ticket tiers only. It does not buy tickets or handle payments. If an event costs money, Doorlist stops and leaves the decision to you.
- Doorlist ticks required terms and consent boxes on event forms only when you have turned that on. Agreeing to an event's terms through Doorlist is the same as agreeing yourself.
- Registration isn't guaranteed. Hosts can decline, waitlist or cancel, and event sites can change or fail. Always check important details with the host.
4. Other sites
Doorlist is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Luma, Partiful, Eventbrite, Meetup or any event host. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms, which you are responsible for following. Search results come from third-party sources and may be inaccurate or out of date.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Doorlist to:
- register people without their permission, or with false information;
- hoard or resell spots, or overwhelm events or sites with registrations;
- break the law or the terms of the sites you book on;
- attack, scrape, reverse engineer or overload the Service, or get around its limits.
We may limit or end access for anyone who does.
6. AI features
Search and voice features use third-party AI services. Their output can be wrong. Doorlist checks event pages before booking, but you should review what it books for you.
7. Changes and availability
We may change, pause or stop parts of the Service, and change these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. Continuing to use Doorlist after that means you accept the new terms.
8. Ending
You can stop using Doorlist and delete your account at any time from the Answers tab. We may suspend or end the Service for you if you break these terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will be error free, always available, or that any registration will succeed.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for missed events, lost spots, or anything an event host or site does. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of US$50 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
12. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Doorlist or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and isn't responsible for any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you're not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and aren't on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
